Time for a career change

It was time for a new career so I chose something that my English Teacher told me to over the years, be a writer.  I think that back then it was so much easier to write a story and not worry about punctuation, layout or competition.  I was my own star and I wrote funny journals about real life events, spiced with some fiction to liven things up.  My teacher would be in tears from laughing so hard at my escapades.  Little did she know that it was all true.  I told her it was fiction. :)

Funny, I was told to be a writer, too. “Great idea”, I thought! But then I got hungry, and when even the dollar menu at Taco Bell seemed like a luxury I knew it was time to get a “real job”. So now I have one but believe me, after a long day at work I often indulge my fantasies of being a writer. Danielle Steel. John Grisham. JK. Heck, I’d write fluffy romance crap if somebody would buy it and I could stay home and work in my jammies.

write all u want on the internet..it takes a long time to get PAID for real..u make little money and give away so much of your content and creativity..for pennies..good luck with that.

I guess I can say I don’t only write to get paid, I do it for the sheer enjoyment of being creative. I want people to love what I write and find some happiness because of it. Money isn’t my main concern, although it would be nice. :)
