What a fantastic action packed fast moving movie. It’s hilarious, entertaining, witty and fun to watch!
I was very impressed with the dialog in this script – I nominate Director & Writer Adam McKay and writer Chris Henchy for an Oscar for this movie!
As always I love the rock – Dwayne Johnson he’s perfect for this part and I love his cop roles in action movies, the same goes for Samuel L Jackson. I wish both guys would have had some MORE screen time, hopefully they will in another movie they make a great team as FUNNY cops.
The audience loved this movie and I want to see it again and again. This will be a classic on DVD for many years because there is so many action scenes which are directed very well, you want to see it again, and you’ll never tire of this movie.
I would have it out on DVD BEFORE Christmas – You’ll make a killing in sales if you price it right. A lot of the new DVD’s are $24 to $35 bucks and that’s too expensive. If you want to compete with a slow market, make it cheaper and sell more. You’ll make your customers and fan’s happy and the cheaper the price the more likely that MORE fans will buy it instead of the usual bunch that always wait for a movie to go on sale.
Advertise it as a 2 week special for that particular rate.
I was excited to see Michael Keaton again, it’s been awhile and your awesome as a captain. I also noticed Larnell Stovall great work here and love the muscles.
Spotted a few other stars in the movie like Brooke Shields, Rob Huebel, Eva Mendes and Anne Heche, Tracy Morgan and Rob Mars.
Steve Coogan plays the part of bad guy very well. 
Newcomers – Danielle Cell I see that your popularity shot up in the ranks 300% , also Tess Kartel wow hottie as a bad girl, I’d cast her in more of those types of roles she was GREAT.
I also want to mention a new star but one that stuck out for some reason you have a great career ahead of you Jamie Dugal. She played a schoolgirl in this movie but she was memorable which means she has charisma and the audience will love her in any movie that she does next.
Final words things I’ll remember about this movie.

Thank you for taking the time to write .. If Jamie knows how to sing she should start a youtube channel with funny little videos like other kids do.. Justin Bieber started out the same way. As for her acting skills all it takes is for a director producer to see her in a good film even with ONE sentence.. tess kartel will be another actress from the movie that will blossom too.. I remember the taxi scene cause it was hilarious with her yelling in the back seat while they are tearing through town? Cant wait to see the actual scenes in the DVD.
any scenes that are cut from the main film usually end up on the DVD version. If you have an actors reel of her work or media kit she should be posting it on youtube with her name… develop a fan base right away..
Hello Linda, I am Jamie Dugal’s dad. You commented in your review of “The Other Guys” that she was memorable and gave her a nice plug. I was wondering if you saw additional footage of her that didn’t make it on the screen. When I saw the movie – after I saw the credits I left. Maybe there were some out-take scenes I missed at the end. The scene with Jamie in the squad car had some dialogue in it that was cut. Thank you for mentioning her!
