I found this rear seat spring on the ground in an alcove of trees, it was hidden under some leaves and I just happened to step on it and look down. My back was sore from taking a stick and poking through the leaves of every single alcove of trees. Harold helped me for an hour, then got tired of it and went to sit in the sun while I poured over the grounds on June 23rd at Southside Park in Woodstock, Ontario, looking for any clues that would lead me to finding Victoria Stafford’s remains.
I found the dirt in the alcoves of trees, very soft and easy to dig with a stick. Even easier with a shovel.
