Susan Boyle Sings Your Killing Me Softly

This recording was discovered by the Daily Record in Scotland. It was made over 10 years ago and she still sounds the same. Such a rich voice, light hearted and full of joy, this is how we see Susan Boyle. She sings “Killing Me Softly” and it moves the heart and soul. To the media out there, I hope you realize that in the past you have cause undue heartache to the world, killed Princes Diana and now your killing Susan Boyle’s chances at reaching her dream. I hope she doesn’t quit, I hope everyone sends her words of encouragement and support and tells her how much they adore her. Those are the kind of stories we want to read in the papers, not about a woman having a rough day. We ALL have those, that really isn’t news and should not be shock to anyone. If you had reporters following you everyday writing about your private life, how would you react? Take a few minutes and picture yourself walking in someone else’s shoes and ask yourself, what would I have done?

If you want to send your support, see “My Letter To Susan Boyle” and find out where to post your supportive comments.

    Dear Ideagirlconsulting’s blog,

I am very impressed by your blog. I saw you’re my 29th post with Susan Boyle’s “Killing Me Softly With His Song”. It is certainly a beautiful rendition.

I work with Cyber PR, a digital firm for artists. We are currently working with Lori Lieberman, the brilliant artist who originally inspired and recorded the hit song, “Killing Me Softly With His Song”. She has just released her unprecedented thirteenth studio recording, “Gun Metal Sky”.

Lori Lieberman has remained in the spotlight since the early seventies, quietly gleaning the respect of an industry and a devoted base of fans. As the one responsible for the aforementioned Roberta Flack hit, she consistently recorded album after album for Capitol Records, RCA, EMI, Pope Music, and currently, Drive On Records. Throughout the years of ever-changing styles and fads, one thing has remained constant in Lieberman’s music– her honest and heartfelt lyrics, coupled with her haunting, and beautiful melodies, always cutting right through to the heart of the listener.

Lori Lieberman’s latest release, “Gun Metal Sky”, is the definitive Lori Lieberman recording. Four years in the making, this CD reflects Lieberman’s growth as a vocalist, writer, producer and arranger. With eight songs penned by Lieberman, it also includes four songs by some of our most beloved songwriters and interpreted by her unique sensitivity and style.

We would be honored if you would consider taking a listen to Lori’s music and sharing it with your readers.

Please let me know if I can be of any additional assistance.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Sincerely,
